Yes, there is a mandatory $1.50 fee to obtain a BayCard which is listed as part of “Tuition and Fees”. Please refer to the  ’Student Financial Services website for further information.

Your Bay Card application will be reviewed, and you will be notified whether it is approved or disapproved within 7-10 business days.

If your Bay Card application is rejected, you will receive an email with a link to re-apply.

If you lose your card, immediately login your Bay Card account and select “DEACTIVATE CARD"

You can request a replacement card by emailing BayCard@csueastbay.edu using your CSU East Bay student, staff, or faculty email account. Please include your NetID in the request. A $10.00 replacement fee will be charged to your account.

For residence access cards, the replacement fee is $25.00. Please contact Student Housing & Residential Life for more information regarding replacement residence access cards.
